Since 1995

Most people have difficulty recalling the era before cell phone accessibility and the time when voice mail still had a bit of novelty. This is the time when the Internet was gaining popularity on college campuses and I was working at an up and coming toy company that manufactured what many shop owners thought to be the ugliest toys called Beanie Babies.

I spoke to the CEO of the company, Ty, about producing a Web site for the company as something cool (and so geeky) that could represent the company in this new era of technology. Little did I know that thousands of people were going to write the company saying they ran out to buy a computer and got on AOL so that they can see what was on our Web site.

That was where my Internet journey began. Three years of intense development at Ty led me to start my own firm in 1997 and after a short hiatus in the technology industry, when I explored a short career in social services, I am back ... and I strive to produce beauty, revenues and innovation in every project I undertake.

The first Web site I ever made in 1995. My brother and I worked together on this and it looks sort of dated, now, but this was hot back then! Check out the high-tech counter! We freaking coded that in Perl because no off-the-shelf counter scripts were able to handle the volume of traffic Ty was getting!
These are the first animations my brother and I made using a digital camera that we were so careful not to move and holding the Beanie Babies in the various positions, taking the pictures, masking out the backgrounds and then making the animations. We were so hard core, LOL
